In an outcome that should surprise no one, the Yankees were once again able to play the role of "Daddy" to Pedro Martinez's "Son" on their way to winning Game 6 of the World Series. The Yanks, behind a 6 RBI night from Hideki Matsui, steamrolled the lackluster Phllies 7-3, finally exorcising the postseason demons that have haunted them since their epic collapse during the 2004 playoffs. Despite never setting foot on the playing field DH Hideki Matsui was named World Series MVP making him the first Japanese born player to ever receive the honor. The celbration parada should take place in the Canyon of Heroes on Friday.
