Solja Life Records, Inc will be releasing Sly Rankin’s debut album, titled “Jamaican Pride” in the summer of 2009.  ”Jamaican Pride” will feature six songs licensed by MTV Networks.  Some of which can be heard at Soundtrack.mtv.com/profile/SoljaLifeRecords.  Sly Rankin is one of the pioneers of a new genre  coming out of Jamaica called dancehall/hip-hop.  A free download of his new mixtape titled 100% Jamaican the Mixtape Vol. 1+1 is available by clicking the Zshare link on website.

Thank you for your interest in vending at the 5th Annual Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival – taking place on Saturday, June 20th, 2008. With the success of the festival over the last tfour years we’re confident that this year’s event will be even bigger and better! Celebrating Hip Hop music and culture in New York’s most beautiful borough, this free, all-day outdoor event will feature a diverse group of performers in a family-friendly environment.

The Event: The Fifth Annual Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival, a celebration of Hip Hop music and culture.

Date & Time: Saturday, June 20th; 12:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Location: Empire Fulton Ferry State Park – DUMBO, BKNY – www.brooklynbridgepark.org

Fee: Varies depending on execution. Email to discuss

Vendor Responsibilities:
• Any and all items needed to sell your products
• Maintenance of the premises
• Handling all sales & collection of monies associated with sales
• Provide meals for participating headlining artists

Vendors will Receive:
• Inclusion in Festival Program as participating Vendor
• Inclusion on Festival home-site www.brooklynbodega.com as partner for the event, including logo and link to your website
• Participation in an event with over 8,000 attendees
