Before Bodega Prez Wes Jackson founded Brooklyn Bodega and The Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival he started an organization called Seven Heads Entertainment. One of the divisions was a record label called 7H Recordings. This was the first album released on 7Heads and remains the most popular. Recorded in the late 90's, "Soon Come..." embodies the jazzy, laid back, positive tone of the indie renaissance of the 90's. The duo from DC were labelmates contemporaries of J-Live, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Common and others. This album has been referred to as the "All For One" of its time. The quiet classic that set the tone for its generation.
