The classic Operation Lock Down… THIS is the video I remember… never saw the ‘original’ above. I wonder who’s idea it was to scrap this one and go the pow-wow route. I mean, you gotta commend them for wanting to exercise some creative muscle, i.e. a make-up and costuming budget - which is always welcome. Just saying, the shadow walker creepy room with the preschool intro is pretty fantastic too.

In case you weren’t paying attention (we all lead busy lives, don’t beat yourself up) our BHF 08 wing has been rolling out the roster for this years festival… Announced this week already, hometown heroes Buckshot (No More Shorty) and BCC cohorts Smif N Wessun. Boot Camp has represented at the BHF since the beginning, back, way back, in the rocking in the parking lot era, so of course we’re happy to continue the tradition. Also joining the 08 line-up, Ladybug Mecca of Digable Planets and ex-Fuschnicken Chip Fu. And ladies… take heed. Bilal will be gracing our stage, no doubt tugging at your willing heartstrings with his unique brand of soulful crooning.
